What happened

Between 10:30 pm and 11:15 pm, three people noticed an unusual phenomenon in the sky and watched it for several minutes. They all described a red-orange luminous ball. According to the witnesses, it sometimes stayed still and sometimes moved from right to left and from top to bottom. It then followed a downward path and disappeared.

No traces were found on the ground in the area. The phenomenon appears to have followed a northeast-to-west trajectory.

The details collected were too sparse to support any particular hypothesis. GEIPAN therefore classified the case as C, for lack of sufficient data.
