Contribution terms

What you publish

A report must describe a real sighting that you made or witnessed. Hoaxes, edited media and AI-generated content presented as real are refused and may lead to the account being closed.

Your photos and videos

You remain the owner of your media. By sending them, you allow SkyUnknown to publish them, free of charge and without time limit, on the site and its sharing pages, together with your account. You certify that you took them or have the right to share them.

Do not publish recognisable faces, number plates or places that identify a person without their consent.

Review

Every report is reviewed before publication. The moderators may refuse it, correct it (spelling, personal information) or suggest an explanation (satellite, plane, planet…).

Removal

You can ask for one of your sightings to be removed at any time: contact@skyunknown.com.
