What happened

Two witnesses were taking photographs at night at the col de Vence. When they looked at their pictures, they found luminous spots on them. They had not noticed anything with the naked eye at the time, so the anomaly showed up only in the images.

GEIPAN classified the case as C, insufficient data. The investigation found that photos of this kind cannot be used for analysis, and that no serious study could be carried out because of the lack of information.
