What happened

Shortly before 10:30 p.m., a witness noticed a very bright orange disc in the sky. A thin trail of smoke accompanied it on its right-hand side. The whole thing moved slowly and without making any noise. The observation lasted less than a minute, after which the disc disappeared and a yellow light took its place.

GEIPAN gathered no further information about the phenomenon. Because the data were insufficient, the case was classified C and no explanation could be put forward.
