What happened

Shortly after 12:15 a.m., a witness left some friends to head home. While crossing the garden, they looked up and saw three points of light forming a triangle directly overhead. They called out to their friends, and everyone came to watch the object. It was moving at high speed and made no sound.

The sighting lasted less than 10 seconds. The witnesses could make out a dim orange light at each corner of the triangle. The craft was travelling from west to east.

No further information could be gathered about the phenomenon. Because the data were insufficient, the GEIPAN classified the case as C.
