Sighting reported to the Italian Air Force on August 21, 1995 at around 00:30, in Capri (NA), by Air Force personnel. Aeronautica Militare conclusion: after review of the records, the event was catalogued as a UFO (unidentified flying object).

What happened

There were 6 to 8 spherical bodies with a luminous trail, grey, with red and white lights. They moved at very high speed from north to south - south-east, at 6000 metres altitude, under a clear sky. The report came from private citizens through an Aeronautica Militare body.
