What happened

Two witnesses saw a very bright yellow light moving slowly across the sky. It travelled at a steady pace and at high altitude, heading from the southeast toward the northwest. They watched it for about three quarters of an hour, until it disappeared from their sight. No other testimony about the phenomenon was collected.

GEIPAN classified the case as B: the two witnesses had probably observed a satellite passing overhead.
