One morning between 7:32 and 7:37, a woman driving on the A87 motorway noticed moving beams of light in the sky. They moved quickly. To her, it looked like a circular craft with beams forming a circle that spun on itself at high speed. Hers was the only testimony collected.

According to GEIPAN, a description of rotating circular lights strongly recalls the light shows used in nightclubs or other party venues, which reflect off a cloud layer or a screen of fine rain. Both were present that morning. The rising beams were not visible in this case. Depending on the state of the air, one can see the patterns on the sky, the beams alone, or both, much like in a smoky cinema. A laser's range varies greatly with atmospheric conditions and can reach tens of kilometres, so the effect can be fleeting, even exceptional, far from its source.

The source of the beams was not identified. After checking, the idea of a technical test at the Puy-du-Fou facilities was ruled out. A nightclub remains possible, since some close late on Thursday nights into Friday, but neighbouring venues could not be reached or would not answer precisely. GEIPAN classified the case as B: skyrose or light spots.
