What happened

At about 11:41 p.m., a witness saw three lights lined up horizontally in the night sky. A few minutes later, two more lights appeared in a vertical position, so that the whole formed an "L". Throughout the observation, which the witness reported as lasting 45 minutes, no movement or change in brightness was noticed. The witness photographed the phenomenon. They had made a fairly similar observation four days earlier and supplied two photographs from that first episode, which may help in understanding the 22 April case. No other witness account was collected.

The description combines features of several ordinary explanations, although certain details of the account seem to rule them out. The investigation could not verify or clarify several key points: the real duration (only photos taken a few seconds apart are available) and whether the window was open or closed during the different phases of the observation. Despite several reminders, the witness did not answer the questions put to them. The second phase, with the arrival of the two extra lights, is the most unusual part and also the least documented.

The case therefore has a certain strangeness, but the single witness, the imprecision on key points and the lack of reply from the witness leave the account with little consistency. GEIPAN classified it C: insufficient data, testimony not usable.
