What happened

A witness saw a disc-shaped craft with three legs. It flew fast and low, without making any noise. A gendarme made a similar sighting, but reported hearing an engine noise.

The gendarmerie investigated and established that the object was a prototype microlight aircraft being tested for filming birds, built for the shooting of the film "Le Peuple migrateur" (Winged Migration).
