What happened

Between 3:30 and 4:00 in the morning, after a thunderstorm, a witness looking out of a window noticed a bright light that puzzled them. It sat above the horizon to the south-west. It drifted slowly in a horizontal direction, sometimes moving back and forth vertically. Depending on where the light was, the witness could make out luminous circles.

A second, flashing light came from the north and passed over the first one, then quickly disappeared toward the south. At 4:00 the first light was still there when the witness went to bed. No sound was heard, and no other testimony was gathered.

GEIPAN classified the case as C: there is not enough information to offer an explanation.
