What happened

At around 9:30 pm, several witnesses noticed a number of points of light moving across the sky. The points changed color as they moved. They were very far away, but the witnesses could not judge the distance any more precisely.

The movements continued in sequence for almost an hour, until 10:20 pm, when the phenomenon suddenly disappeared.

GEIPAN described the sighting as a display of dancing lights. The information gathered was not enough to offer an explanation or to determine what the phenomenon was, so the case was classified C, meaning insufficient data.
