What happened

At around 11 p.m., two witnesses noticed an unusual phenomenon in the sky: a very bright white ball moving fast. It drew away and disappeared from their view. The sighting lasted only a few seconds, and no sound was heard while it lasted.

The gendarmerie was unable to make any findings about the phenomenon. GEIPAN classified the case as C (insufficient data) because of the lack of information: it was the passage of a silent luminous object, with nothing more to go on.
