What happened

A witness was in their vehicle when they noticed a luminous sphere. It came down to the ground, then lifted off again and split into three parts.

The following day, gendarmes went to the site and found soldiers hidden in ambush with a cannon at the very spot where the sighting had occurred. The GEIPAN has no further information. However, military exercises were taking place in the region at the time, and they may explain the phenomenon the witness described. The case was classified B, probably identified.
