What happened

Around 10 p.m., several witnesses noticed an oval-shaped object in the sky. It twinkled and gave off red-orange light. It came from the north-east and moved horizontally toward the south-west at low altitude, making no sound. It eventually disappeared from the witnesses' view, hidden by the landscape.

The GEIPAN classified the case as C, meaning the available data were insufficient to offer an explanation. The investigation only recorded the sighting of an oval object moving silently in a horizontal path.
