What happened

At around 10:30 p.m., a witness noticed a very bright yellow light about 200 metres away. Shortly afterwards, a red-orange geometric shape, either hexagonal or octagonal, rose above the wood from which the light had come. The witness heard no noise during the observation.

No other witness account was collected, and no particular trace was found in the area the witness indicated. Investigators could gather no further information about the phenomenon. GEIPAN classified the case as C, insufficient data: a bright light followed by a geometric shape was observed, but there was not enough information to go any further.
