Sighting in Villy, September 5, 1991

Ardennes, Grand Est, France

Sighting on September 5, 1991 in Villy (Ardennes, France). GEIPAN could not reach a conclusion for lack of sufficient information (class C).

What happened

At around 11:30 pm, a witness saw three points of light moving across the sky in a triangular arrangement. The apex of the triangle pointed backward relative to the direction of travel: two red lights were at the front and one white light at the rear. The group moved slowly and without any sound. The same thing passed by a second time, about fifteen minutes after the first pass.

The file contains no further information about the sighting. GEIPAN classified it as C, meaning there was insufficient data to reach a conclusion: the lack of information made it impossible to determine what the witness saw.
