What happened

After an article appeared in the local press, two witnesses were interviewed about something they had seen shortly after midnight, around 12:05 a.m. on 15 August 1977. They described a luminous, ball-shaped object coming from the southwest. It moved slowly at low altitude, stopped for a few seconds, then set off toward the northeast at a higher speed.

The sighting lasted several minutes, and no sound was heard at any point. No other witness account of the phenomenon was gathered.

GEIPAN classified the case as C, meaning the available information is insufficient to propose an explanation. Its conclusion is limited to describing the movement of a luminous sphere.
