What happened

At around 11:35 p.m., a driver and their passenger noticed a very bright yellow-orange glow that seemed to appear almost at ground level on a hillside. The driver stopped the vehicle and then saw a large half-sphere, the other half being hidden behind trees. The object moved from north to south and no sound was heard.

The sighting lasted about 50 minutes in all. The object vanished as its light faded away.

GEIPAN classified the case as C, meaning the data are insufficient to draw a conclusion, since no other information was gathered about the phenomenon. Its conclusion describes the repeated observation of a large sphere.
