What happened

At around 11 a.m., a witness was driving when they noticed two dark, pyramid-shaped forms at an estimated distance of 8 km. They were motionless in the sky and showed no lights of any kind. At a bend in the road, the witness lost sight of them.

A little further on, the witness saw a third form, black and triangular, passing over the car at the same speed as the vehicle, about 80 km/h. Within moments the object accelerated and vanished, making a dull noise along with a high-pitched hissing sound.

The investigation could not explain what the witness had seen, and GEIPAN classed the case as D (unexplained).
