What happened

Shortly after 6 a.m., a witness who was in their bedroom saw a blue ball fall rapidly behind a nearby quarry. They heard no sound. After the apparent fall, blue glows rose up behind the mountain. The witness woke their partner, who could only make out the glows behind the quarry.
