What happened

At around 11:30 p.m., two people saw about thirty lights in the sky, all moving in the same direction. No sound was heard. As the minutes went by, the lights became fewer and eventually vanished altogether. One of the witnesses filmed the sighting.

After doing some research, this witness concluded that they had seen Thai lanterns drifting by. The investigation found no other testimony about the passage or the origin of these lanterns. Based on the description given, the GEIPAN considers that the witnesses probably saw Thai lanterns, and the case was classified B (probably identified).
