What happened

At around 9:30 p.m., three witnesses noticed a particularly bright point of light in the sky. It moved very slowly, and the sighting lasted several tens of minutes.

The GEIPAN investigation concluded that the object was most likely a spacecraft. One of the witnesses had seen the same thing again the following day. The case was classified B (probably identified).
