Landes, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France

What happened

Between 11:30 p.m. and 11:42 p.m., a witness and their spouse noticed an unusual glow through the window of their house. The light was yellow and seemed to come from a straight row of spots.

Over the twelve minutes of the observation, one of the beams stood out more clearly than the rest and lit up the ground. The witnesses saw the spots move, but heard no noise at all. The glow then faded gradually until all the light had gone out.

No further information could be gathered about the phenomenon. Because the data were insufficient, the GEIPAN classified the case as category C.
