What happened
At around 11 p.m. on 21 April 1982, several CB radio users spread across the same area called out to one another about a bright point of light that was behaving in an unusual way. Through binoculars, the object looked triangular and gave off an intense light. It was at very high altitude, moving in zigzags and sometimes hovering in place. No trail could be seen behind it.
For some of the CB users, the observation went on until 3:30 in the morning, when the object disappeared.
GEIPAN gathered no further information about the phenomenon. With nothing more to go on, the case remained unexplained and was classified D.
