What happened

At around 10 p.m., a witness saw a fire-colored ball fitted with several flashing lights. The object moved back and forth several times, then vanished after roughly 30 seconds.

The sighting also seems to have been made by pilots. GEIPAN found no explanation for the phenomenon and classified it D, meaning unexplained.
