What happened

At around 1 a.m., a witness was riding a moped and had just passed some cars when, by their account, a very bright beam of light suddenly brought them to a halt. They said they then lost consciousness.

They came to about an hour later. They then saw a very bright disc above them, moving away and making a noise.

The GEIPAN investigation concluded that the account was not credible: at the time, the witness was probably under the influence of alcohol, and their personality made it impossible to take the testimony seriously. The case was classified B, probably identified.
