What happened
At about 8:45 p.m., a witness noticed a luminous phenomenon and watched it through binoculars for roughly three minutes. It looked like a circular object made up of two parts: the upper part was bright and yellow, while the lower part carried a vivid red flame.
The object then seemed to rotate on itself and took on an oval shape, with no change in the intensity of the colors. The witness then went back to what they had been doing, and the phenomenon disappeared in the meantime.
No other witness accounts were gathered. Because of the lack of information, GEIPAN could not offer an explanation and classified the case as C (insufficient data).
