What happened

Around 7:35 in the evening, a telephone call came in to the semaphore station reporting two motionless points of light in the sky. The serviceman on duty checked and saw two objects himself. The first was cylindrical, with a conical, shiny front end. The second was crescent-shaped and kept appearing and disappearing.

The head of the post was then contacted and also observed the two objects. At about 8:20 p.m., they vanished behind clouds.

GEIPAN classified the case as B: according to the investigation, the observers probably saw balloons.
