What happened

Two witnesses noticed a luminous phenomenon at night, between 11:00 and 11:30 p.m., about 150 meters from their home. The object was cylindrical, roughly one meter thick with a circumference of about 1.5 meters. It carried white and red lights, which were described as dazzling.

It lifted off slowly from a neighboring property and rose into the air. It then followed an oblique path and disappeared into the clouds. No trace was found on the property it had left, and no other information was gathered about the phenomenon.

GEIPAN classified the case as C, meaning there was insufficient data. Its conclusion describes a cylindrical object taking off from a property.
