What happened

At around 9 p.m., two witnesses at home saw two luminous balls, one red and one green, moving across the sky. Every so often, one of them began to circle the other. The phenomenon made no noise. The witnesses estimated that each ball measured about 4 or 5 metres in diameter.

The investigation turned up one further witness, who came forward late. No other information could be gathered. GEIPAN classified the case as C, meaning the data were insufficient to reach a conclusion.
