What happened

During the night, between about 1:00 and 1:30 a.m., four witnesses travelling along a road noticed a white ball spinning in the sky. It stayed in view for about 14 km of their journey.

The investigation quickly showed that they had seen a laser projector of the "skyrose" type. A nightclub about 6 km from the observation site was testing it that night. GEIPAN classified the case as A: the phenomenon was identified as a nightclub laser projector.
