What happened

An hour after sunset, several witnesses watched a point of light for a long time. It was surrounded by a bluish ring. At times a coloured trail appeared with it, and its movements traced zigzags.

GEIPAN's investigation could not gather any further information about the phenomenon. The data are therefore insufficient and the case is classified C. The conclusion reached was the observation of a point of light at very high altitude.
