Sighting in Plévenon, May 12, 2008

Côtes-d'Armor, Bretagne, France

Sighting on May 12, 2008 in Plévenon (Côtes-d'Armor, France). GEIPAN could not reach a conclusion for lack of sufficient information (class C).

What happened

At around 6 p.m., a witness took two photographs of Fort Lalatte. When they looked through the pictures afterwards, they found a black spot on one of the two. They had noticed nothing unusual while taking the photos.

The investigation could not go any further. Many different explanations could account for a spot on a photograph when nothing was seen directly at the time, and none of them can be verified. GEIPAN classified the case as C, meaning there was insufficient data.
