What happened

Three witnesses, each on their own and on several occasions, saw an unusual luminous phenomenon. One of them, who was riding a moped, was overflown by an orange disc that made a strange sound, like the rustling of air. Frightened, they fell off the moped.

Another witness saw a similar object twice, along with strange lights behind the hills.

The GEIPAN investigation could not find an explanation for the phenomenon, and the case remained classified D (unexplained).
