What happened

Early in the morning, at about 6:42, a motorist was driving on the A20 motorway when they saw an object through the windshield. It crossed the sky quickly at a height of roughly 50 m. The object was yellow-orange and appeared about the size of a grapefruit. The witness heard no sound. The object went out, and no trail was noticed.

The GEIPAN asked the witness to provide the gendarmerie report, but it was never sent. Because there was not enough information, the case was classified C (insufficient data).
