What happened

At around 7:30 p.m., four witnesses saw a very bright point moving across the sky. It left a white trail behind it, so that the whole thing looked like a "neon tube". The phenomenon made no sound and lasted between one and three minutes.

GEIPAN classified the case as B (probably identified). In all likelihood, the witnesses saw the atmospheric re-entry of a meteorite or a piece of space debris.
