What happened
The witness reported this sighting on 30 August 2010, three years after it happened, and could no longer recall the exact day in August 2007. They were on a beach when they noticed a shiny object behind an advertising plane, with facets in very vivid colours.
The object stayed stationary in the sky, yet it seemed to rotate on itself very slowly. The witness heard no noise. After two or three minutes, the object disappeared.
No other witness account was collected for this phenomenon. GEIPAN classified the case as C, as the precision and information available were insufficient to offer an explanation.
