Sighting in Strasbourg (67) --.--.1990 Ou, 1990

France

Sighting in 1990 in Strasbourg (67) --.--.1990 Ou (France). GEIPAN could not reach a conclusion for lack of sufficient information (class C).

What happened

The witness was walking along a street in 1990 or 1991, as they remembered it, when they were dazzled by an object passing in front of the sun. The object was made up of three intense lights placed at the corners of an equilateral triangle. It moved slowly and made no noise. The witness described it as metallic in appearance, grey, and marked with geometric patterns. It then vanished suddenly, at a speed the witness called "incredible".

The account was only collected in April 2008, long after the event, and it contains little detail. GEIPAN was therefore unable to carry out a serious investigation that could confirm or rule out hypotheses, in particular that of an aircraft passing by. The case is classified C, for insufficient data.
