Sighting in Ternant, 1990

Côte-d'Or, Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, France

Sighting in 1990 in Ternant (Côte-d'Or, France). GEIPAN could not reach a conclusion for lack of sufficient information (class C).

What happened

On 27 January 2009, a witness sent in a very brief account of an observation made in the early 1990s. It had taken place in the evening, in the Côte-d'Or department. The account gave no precise date: the day and month recorded in the file were chosen arbitrarily. It also gave no description of the phenomenon that was seen.

GEIPAN asked for further information, but none was ever received. With so little data, the case is classified C (insufficient data): it is an old sighting of an unidentified aerospace phenomenon with no details at all.
