Sighting in Toulouse, April 2, 2009

Haute-Garonne, Occitanie, France

Sighting on April 2, 2009 in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne, France). GEIPAN could not reach a conclusion for lack of sufficient information (class C).

What happened

At around 11:10 p.m., a witness was looking at a cloudy sky when they noticed a white phenomenon surrounded by a reddish glow, shaped like a pinhead. It moved very fast in a zigzag, travelling from the south toward the west. The witness had the impression that it was falling toward the Pyrenees.

The file contained neither a questionnaire nor a police report. Without this information, no investigation could be carried out and no hypothesis could be considered. GEIPAN therefore classified the case in category C, for insufficient data.
