What happened

At around 2:15 in the morning, a couple was watching shooting stars when three orange-coloured points of light passed overhead. The sighting lasted about ten seconds. One of the two witnesses, an air traffic controller by profession, estimated the altitude at 10,000 feet and the speed at 500 knots.
