What happened

At around 3 a.m., a witness noticed a round, luminous object in the sky, yellowish in color. It was over a hillside and moving very slowly. After a good five minutes, it sped away at very high speed and then vanished.

The GEIPAN classed the case as D (unexplained): no explanation could be given for the phenomenon, described as a round luminous object that was at first stationary and then left at great speed.
